ELIGIO RE FRASCHINI : the exclusive elegance of carbon fibre in the new Hyperion by Pininfarina

All the technology and beauty of carbon fibre in the new Hyperion by Pininfarina: this is the contribution by Eligio Re Fraschini to the unique and exclusive project by manufacturing the whole external body in composite material based on drawings by Pininfarina.

The custom-built car, on special request of the owner Roland Hall, and dedicated to Andrea Pininfarina, was presented as a preview on occasion of the yearly Concours d’Elegance 2008 held in Pebble Beach, California.

It took only two months to the technicians in the composite department at Eligio Re Fraschini to manufacture both tools and final parts of the car external body in carbon fibre. Technique applied: lamination of pre-preg material polymerized by cure cycle in autoclave and sandwich structure where required.
